1960's Pendleton Plaid Cape
Everywhere you look plaid is the print for fall. From Vivienne Westwood, Dolce and Gabbana to Alexander McQueen, everyone is mad for plaid. We like it for it’s versatility, plaid can be punk, indie, English garden or Old Money. Everyone can find a look with it and this cape is the perfect example. Perfect when worn over a vintage Sonia Rykiel plaid suit, (yes, please MIX your plaids!) coupled with jeans and turtleneck or our personal favorite; worn with a slinky evening gown.
Go on! Wear some plaid!
Circa; 1960’s a 100% wool, fire engine red and black plaid with shots of yellow. Made by Pendleton, lined, with 2 front pockets and large pointed collar, not over the top, but definitely striking. The perfect must have fall accessory. very good vintage condition, slight bit of wear.
