1980's Adele Simpson Silk Dress

Vintage 1980’s Adele Simpson silk dress in a “I mean business” gray and royal blue plaid. We love the reference to the 1940’s, with the large padded shoulders and cinched, black linen, fitted waist. And let's face it a cinched waist like this, gives an illusion of a thinner body, especially with the billowy top and hip skimming skirt.  This dress also buttons all the way down, allowing you to control the amount of "accidental" leg flashing.  Fitted cuffs with 3 large buttons off set the full, dramatic shoulders and sleeves. The skirt floats like a dream. Utterly stunning. Perfect with leather boots and slouchy bag. Excellent condition.
