Asian Scape Necklace Set

I always loved the fact that Diane vreeland wanted her office to look like a "garden from hell"  with red everywhere, asian tapestry, gold accents, black laquer....it didn't sound like hell to ME!!  More like paradise.  A divine place to create and re-create.  While it probably was a bit over the top for most, I bet it definitely spun a web of intrigue around most people who saw it.  Much like this necklace.  Large, over the top, vivid gold and what an asian scape inside!  From the large dragon with his long forked tongue (ahem!) to the 3 handed angry buddha sitting under the pagoda.  Asian characters among flora and filigree, plus the 3 hanging chines "coins"  I haven't seen a piece like this anywhere and really, neither have you.  The earrings are just as awe inspiring, chinese coins hang from asian characters. Excellent condition, unsigned, original chain.
