Diane von Furstenberg Silk Snakeskin Dress

Snake in the grass is not your usual compliment but this DVF dress reminds us of the old adage.  It fits all dreamy and lady-like, with the side ruching, asymetrical waist, cowl neck and bracelet sleeves, but the print on this dress transforms it from "What a sweet girl" to "What a hot dame!" 

Not bad.

The dress is 100% silk but, get this, feels like a soft cotton.  Really!  It's not a dainty, "Oh watch your mitts!", type silk, but rather a "Watch yourselves, boys, I'm trouble" type durable silk.

We like that in a dress.

Excellent condition, slips easily on.
