Oh, Karl, we could not of said it better. We also are a bit taken back by those who try hard to be “the peach of the day.” Rather than look down at them, we tend to give a compassionate pass. Perhaps they haven’t the resources, the know how, the common sense to embrace their beauty as they “ripen”
